"Teco"

I am TECO! I am a 23 year old imported beautiful male greenwing macaw. My family got so busy this last year or two they just didn't have alot of time for me. So, they contacted NPRPF about finding me a new home. Unfortunately they didn't handle me at all either, so I will need a home with someone who has alot of time and patience to help me become a wonderful companion again. I have been DNA sexed, tested for Pssit., Polyoma, Pacheo's and Beak and Feather......boy I am squeaky clean:) The members of the Rescue Committee have been working with me alot since I forgot how to step up. But I do allow Daina to scratch my head and rub under my wings and play with my foot. If she continues to be really sweet to me I might let her pick me up! :) I didn't come with a cage so they will require my new mom and dad to buy me a really huge macaw cage. Oh, yeah I am supposed to tell you that I am Mr. Personality...I talk and am very interactive........alot of the time I just jabber but boy I love interaction.
 
 
The wonderful people at NPRPF found me the most fabulous home. I love my new Mom!
