Hi, my name is Chewy and my name is Chompers and we are the military brothers. They call us that cuss we really love to chew.  So much that we have gone through tons of toys really fast.   Well we aren't probably brothers but since we came together the NPRPF staff calls us that.  We are believed to be young military macaws and the nice folks at NPRPF had us examined, sexed and disease checked. We are both males.  We are in great condition, just haven't been handled much at all.  We are looking for our new forever homes, but we are not going together.  They don't know alot about our past, they do know we can only go to someone who has alot of macaw experience since we aren't really pet birds.  We will need somebody who has alot of patience and knowledge handling young macaws like ourselves.  We don't have any cages so you will need to buy a very large macaw cage.  We must be adopted out in the local Houston area since the staff will be coming by for numerous home checks as usual.  If you think you would like to adopt one of us, you must fill out the adoption/fostering application and mail it to the address on the form on our website.  Please consider adopting one of us as we would love to be your new best friend .....forever.
