Hello,
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Isabella
but my friends call me Bird. I just wanted to say thank
you very much for taking me in since my owner can't keep
me. You see he has a
new baby. I guess they thought I might hurt baby, but I wouldn't. Anyway,
things are OK here, I miss my owner badly. I know that you nice
people will help me find a new forever home. Hopefully one that doesn't
have kids or hope to someday. That might scare them you know. Daina
is really nice and trying her best to make my adjustment easier. To
make her feel better I let her carry me on her shoulder and did let her
scratch my head. She lets me wonder around on the floor, something
I couldn't do anymore at home. Oh, yeah by the way my roommates
aren't bad either. That Puffin is a cute female Goffins and Buddy
the Grey is a real talker. Actually he never shuts up! But, its
kinda nice having other feathered friends around. It's something
I have never had before. Anyway I just wanted to say hi, better
close for now and thanks.

Hi friends,
I just wanted you to know I am adjusting well in my foster
home. I even
kinda like this Mark guy, I think it is Daina main flock member. They
seem pretty bonded so maybe so. Anyway, I am enjoying walking around
alot and being out of my cage, too. In fact I have them already pretty
well trained. As soon as they sit down to eat in the living room I crawl
off my cage and walk over to one of them crawl up the recliner or sofa, give
them that pouty look and wala!!!! food in my face. Yeah!
Boy, are they push overs. Well, I think I have to go to bed now cause
Daina says I have to get my beauty sleep. Daina and Diane are taking
me to Bryan tomorrow for a makeover. Yes, I am getting my feathers done
and a pedicure. I haven't decided yet what color polish to get yet though. Anyway,
I'll sleep on that. So, I had better close for now. Oh, yeah that
Buddy he is sooo lucky. He is going to his forever home on the 23rd. He
is so excited. I am looking forward to somebody loving me forever, too. If
you know of anyone please tell them about me. I am very camera shy so
I am much prettier than these pictures show. Daina's coming to tuck me
in now, sleep well.

* Isabella Bird is happy in her new home, though she still misses Buddy and
Puffie. The good news is that Buddy and Puffie are happy in
their new homes as well. Isabella's feathers have taken on a beautiful
glow.
